Vintage Design
A difficult number to find, 6 of rare Italian 70s chairs designed by Adalberto Caraceni for Tagliabue of Cascina Armata. Stable and solid, these mid century chairs are made in curved plywood, veneered in national walnut and Vienna straw. The “curves” that characterize the back and seat of these chairs make them enveloping and comfortable. The concave seat upholstered in straw supports the seat while the semi-cricular back, like a niche, is emptied in the center. The upper part of the back is slightly inclined to accommodate the back. The essential design that gives attention to the beauty of the materials used recalls the productions of Molteni or Stilwood. The chairs are in good vintage condition. They show minimal signs of age and use.
