Exceptionally executed, exotic, highly unusual in form, hand carved, decadent gilded bronze – gold with enchanting luster, featuring square box shaped case top with canted corners, richly decorated, paneled sides with finely sculpted textured wood edge framing exceptional floral rosette, the box shaped case top molded and stepped with central inset upholstered wood top cover, that can lift off to reveal open interior that can be used for concealed storage or as a cachepot planter box.
The case exterior finished in brilliant gilded gold, held aloft by four highly stylized molded shaped scroll supports decorated with curve and counter-curve S’ scrolls, double C’ scrolls, acanthus leaf foliage, openwork, on pineapple finial topped moulded plinth base accented by intricate running ornamentation carvings in relief, rising on four low feet.
