Originally made for use with candles, this 19th century Spanish carved giltwood mirror sconce has been electrified, and its two sockets will take candelabra style bulbs. The decoratively etched mirror produced by the Royal Glass Factory of La Granja, Spain features the figure of a classically dressed woman holding a bird, possibly a dove, which would signify purity, love, peace and gentleness.
