Handmade in Paris, Francis – a timeless Hughes Chevalier-made desk (63″Wide x 28″Deep x 30″High) and chair(22″Wide x 24″Deep x 31″High-Seat height is 19″) available for purchase. This enduring set is made from varnished sycamore in a moderate gloss finish with small metal feet and a leather writing pad insert highlighting the center of the beautiful wood. We purchased the piece to visually and functionally compliment space in an open concept living area and then moved it against a wall in another setting – and both worked well for this understated and much-appreciated piece, used lightly and lovingly. It is perfectly suited for a home office or a statement piece for a refined business setting. Life moves us on and it’s time for someone else to value its ageless beauty.
