Seats in walnut and embossed leather, 19th century. Set of six chairs and two matching armchairs, made of walnut and with seat and back in embossed leather (some leathers require restoration). The structure is based on the traditional models of the Spanish armchair, providing decorative details from various artistic styles, such as wavy arms (Rococo) or chambranas with carvings and curved, or locks with turning lentil (Baroque). It was common in the 19th century to make furniture uniting elements of different artistic traditions, using as a basis, in Spain, local models of great success. The leather embossed in seats and backs is another characteristic element of the Peninsula, very used throughout the centuries.
