By Frankenthal during the Carl Theodor period.
With a group of polychrome enamel decorated fruit to the bowl, floral sprays to the border, and a gilt edged, molded rim.
The bowl has black flaws typical of the period’s porcelain dispersed throughout the body, and the enamel decoration hides (as is typical) a series of flaws underneath. Wonderful compensation for flaws of this lovely ‘white gold’!
Simply a wonderful, well preserved bowl!
