18th Century the Child Jesus Saviour of the World (Salvator Mundi ), Portuguese Baroque

Represented naked, in a gesture of blessing, holding in his left hand the orb, as a symbol of the world, this Infant Jesus sits on a gilded wooden pedestal surrounded by three (3) angel heads on a sacred cloud.

Origin: Portugal.

Material: Polychrome Wood.

Circa: 18th Century.

Item Condition: Minor flaws and cracks along the sculpture. Age weathered surfaces. Condition is appropriate for age and use. See photos for complete assessment.
