This Neo-Baroque writing desk is entirely made in oak wood. Presented piece of furniture is dated the end of the 19th century (circa 1890). The item is composed of two segments: a liftable upper part, a chest with a row of three drawers, and a fall front. The whole is supported on a frame
with cabriole legs. The chest part can be lifted on the handles that are located on its sides. The fronts of the drawers are shaped wavily, with brass fittings. The bottom frame protrudes over the sides of the item. Its front is decorated with a bas-relief palmette.
There are countless drawers inside the writing desk. The middle segment is lockable and ornamented with a beautiful inlaid in shape of a star. All locks are original and functional; keys in the set.
This writing desk has undergone restoration. It presents itself astonishingly.
