Vintage Design
A stylish and very rare set of six vintage G Plan dining chairs in oak. They were part of the Brandon range, this model appears in the very first G Plan catalogue and they date from the early 1950s.
The quality is superb, they are beautifully designed and are very comfortable. They have lovely scooped backs which provide lots of support, the front legs are finely tapered and the lower back rest supports have chamfered edges.
The condition is excellent for their age, we have had the frames stripped and re-polished. The seats are upholstered in a red velour fabric, the same colour as was seen in the very first G Plan catalogue. The fabric is in very good condition with only some light surface wear, they would be very easy to recover if desired.
